NXP Ultra-Wideband Wireless Battery Management System Solution
Pickering Interfaces MEMS-based PXI/PXIe RF multiplexer family The first PXI/PXIe MEMS-based RF multiplexer (MUX) modules on the market, this new RF MUX family delivers vastly increased operational life (up to 300x), faster operating speed (up to 60x) and higher bandwidth (with no reduction in RF power handling) versus traditional EMR (electrome- chanical relay) alternatives, while insertion loss also remains comparable with EMR switches and much lower than solid-state.
This is the first wireless BMS solution to use UWB technology for electric vehicles and energy storage systems. NXP’s BMS solution uses Ultra-Wideband-based radio to wirelessly communicate within the battery pack. UWB enables robust and reliable transfer of battery cell information such as voltage and temperature measurements.

Intelligent Memory
16Gb DDR4 x4
The i.MX 94 family of applications processors addresses the growing complexity of industrial and automotive connectivity. The i.MX 94 family helps simplify the complexity by integrating communications, safety, and real-time control features into a single SoC. Additionally, the i.MX 94 family addresses the need for advanced security.
Intelligent Memory has launched 16Gb DDR4 x4 DRAM components that allow more chips to be used per memory module due to their smaller data width per check. This results in higher memory densities, enabling the creation of memory modules with capacities of 64, 128, or even 256GB.
